I've been a busy little sewer lately, my sew-jo is strong at the moment! I recently did a test sew for The Wolf and The Tree, had never heard of this designer before seeing the tester call, and if her latest pattern is anything to go by I suspect we will be seeing more from Saskia in the pdf pattern world in the not so distant future.
Originally this pattern was designed for 2 way stretch knits, but due to a few of us making suggestions its able to be used for both 2 way and 4 way stretch knits. This allows you to use a whole range of different types of knit, from stretch lace to sweater knits.. and even merino to make some lovely thermals for the colder weather.
My version is a 4 way cotton lycra version, using one of my favourite knit fabrics from The Art of Fabric, Alice.. I use it very sparingly, because I don't want it to be all gone!
